Over the years she collected a seemingly endless stream of rejection letters from editors and publishers, but in February of 2005, Stonegarden Publishing saw the future and decided to publish her first book, Perverted Realities, anyway. Perverted Realities was released in August 2005. Since then the seemingly endless stream of rejection letters has picked up again, but this time they are from bookstores and reviewers. But, hey - a writer without rejection isn’t really a writer; it is a magickal being historically known as genies, who have no place in the publishing world. Currently, she lives in California with dreams of once again returning to Colorado, this time with her head held high and her disillusionments strongly in place. She lives with her beloved husband, Sammy, Frankie, and all sorts of invisible woodland creatures. |

Born and raised in Colorado
Springs, Colorado, Jennifer Caress moved to the snow banks of
Northern Michigan when she was eighteen years old. Two years
later, she returned to Colorado with her tail between her legs
and a newfound respect for disillusionment.
